Phone: portrait or landscape. Left stick moves; push beyond the rim to sprint using stamina. Tap an action in your facing direction. Drag on an action to aim following strikes; drag Guard to turn your defence. Hold Guard to block, press just before eligible melee hits to parry.

Desktop: WASD move · mouse aims · LMB Slash · RMB Stab · Q Heavy · E Special · Space Dodge · hold F Guard · hold Shift Sprint · R Retry.

Attacks, dodge and sprint spend stamina. Recover when not attacking or sprinting; recovery is slower while guarding. Low stamina dims actions; exhausted fighters must recover before attacking or dodging.

Pistol: collect/equip with the equipment button or G. Drag Fire to aim; hold to keep firing. Slight assistance helps near your aim. A tap without dragging fires in your current direction. Releasing or cancelling stops firing. Reload in the Stab position; Melee in Heavy. Desktop mouse aims, left click fires, right click reloads, Q returns to melee. Guard and Special are unavailable with the pistol.

Knife: Slash, Stab, Heavy, Pommel, Dodge and frontal Guard. Side and rear hits bypass defence.
